Building Mental Fitness is not a one-shot deal.  You can't simply attend a workshop or a course (as important as that is) and expect to have bullet-proof levels of Mental Fitness for ever-more.  Building Mental Fitness is, quite simply, a life-long endeavour, because circumstances change and life develops.  And those changes and developments mean that you need to develop and change with them, or risk putting all the progress you've made into reverse.

But, you don't have to figure out and put into practice those developments and changes on your own.  You learned some vital information, tips and techniques to support your Mental Fitness when you attended the workshop, and now it's time to get your hands on not only the tools we talked about there, but a range of additional tools to support you further.

Set out below is a brief overview of each tool and, when you find one you want to explore, simply click the download button for that tool and the PDF will be delivered directly to your PC, tablet or phone.

PHYSICAL HEALTH TOOLS & RESOURCES

Spinning plates, juggling balls, managing relationships, meeting expectations.  All part of life.  And all factors that can make or break your physical health, depending on how you treat them.

You see, when those key areas of your life start to misfire - to get out of balance and slip away from where you aspire for them to be - stress, anxiety, unhappiness, de-motivation and much more besides can quickly begin to creep in.  And as those things begin to take hold, so your physical health and well-being can (and usually does) go into decline.

The Wheel of Life Tool takes eight key areas of your life and helps you to explore how you are faring with each one - whether it's an area of your life that is building you up, or pulling you down, and what you can, and need to, do about that.

One of the first things to take a nose-dive when your sleep is not what it needs to be is your physical health.  Sleep is a key piece of your physical (and mental) well-being.  not only does it ensure you have energy, it helps your mind and body keep itself in tip-top condition by providing the time and space for some running repairs and general maintenance.

But, all too often, in a busy life with a hectic schedule, sleep is one of the first things to be sacrificed as you attempt to ensure that those plates keep spinning and the balls you are juggling stay in the air.

When you know what to keep an eye out for, though, you can learn to manage the factors that impact your sleep, so that you can get the sleep you need and keep those plates spinning and balls juggling.  And that's where a Sleep Journal, like the one in this easy to use tool, comes into its own.

In all the business and frantic activity, it can be all too easy to allow the negatives you experience to dominate your thinking.  And, when that happens, many of the basic Mental Fitness foundations are put in harms way: stress, anxiety, motivation, confidence, optimism, happiness, to name just a few.

But, did you know that a negative focus can also play havoc your physical health?  And not only in the more obvious ways, such as through the effects of stress on your body, but in much more subtle ways, such as a loss of focus on self-care.

This Daily Stock Take will help you balance the negative with the positive, and maintain a healthy and realistic perspective on what is actually going on in your life.  And, armed with that perspective, you will be able to put yourself in control of your mental and physical well-being.

In a demanding world, it is increasingly easy to be tough on yourself. And, as you get tough with yourself about all the balls you dropped, opportunities you missed and promises you didn't keep, so it becomes increasingly easy to let your self-care slip.  And, when that happens, a lot more slips besides, including your physical health.

Sure, sometimes a bit of tough love administered towards yourself is useful.  But, even when it is useful and, importantly, justified (rather than simply an exercise in beating yourself up), it should be done honestly, objectively and, above all else, with self-compassion.  Otherwise, all you'll do is make matters worse on all fronts.

Which is where the Self-Care Checklist comes in.  By guiding you through a simple set of questions, you'll be able to take stock of how well you are looking after your own welfare, and take steps to make sure that you prioritise your health and well-being in ways that keep everything on track.

Stress is a part of life.  It serves a purpose - not least to help us stay safe in the face of danger.  But, allowed to get out of control, stress can shift from the thing that keeps us safe from danger to being the danger itself.

And, when that happens, the toll on your physical health can be significant.  From seemingly small things such as sweaty palms, lack of energy and tiredness, to health-damaging lifestyle choices such as alcohol misuse, right through to life-threatening conditions such as heart disease.

But, as dangerous as unmanaged stress can be, when you take control of it, it can become something that provides opportunities to grow, and opportunities to thrive.  And this Growing With Stress tool will show you how.

In a world where the layers of complexity seem to be ever-increasing, sometimes the simplest solutions are the best.  And that's definitely the case with the Keep it Simple Planner tool.

By focusing on four simple considerations to building and maintaining your health and well-being - mindfulness, physical exercise, nutrition and abstinence, you'll build a simple and deliverable plan to help you establish positive practices and habits that will boost not only your physical, but your mental health, wellbeing and fitness.

At first glance, you may be left wondering whether such a simple approach can really make much of a dent in those negative habits that have crept in and have been undermining your progress.  It can.  And, if you create a plan, and apply it in your day-to-day life, it will.

When you are stressed, tired, and energy has become something you think you remember having once upon a time, your physical health begins to suffer.  And, sometimes, the factors that have you frazzled are outside of your control - you simply have to roll with it until they pass.  But, sometimes, that frazzled state you find yourself in is of your own making.

The Energy Zappers tool will help you to identify the things that are sucking your energy, whether that's mental or physical.  And, once you know what those things are, it'll help you pinpoint the ones you can do something about, and identify what you can do to eliminate them (or, at least reduce the impact they have).
